Back width

  • Make sure that your arms are relaxed and by the side.
  • Measure across the back, start at the back of one armpit,
    continue measuring across the shoulder blades, and then stop at the back of the left armpit. Do not continue measuring under the armspits.

  • Measure around the largest part of your bicep. Put a finger beween the arm and the measuring tape.
  • You only need to measure one side.

Chest

  • Measure around the widest part of the chest. (typically right under the armpits and shoulder blades, right across the nipples).
  • Make sure that measuring tape is not stretched too tight. (Place a finger between the chest and the measuring tape). But don't let it slip down.
  • Let your arms hang down by your sides, take a normal breath, and measure.

Front jacket length

  • Stand relaxed in a normal stance.
  • Measure from the front from the base of the neck (right or left side) straight down to the level of the thumb base, to the point where you want your jacket to end. (It is an individual preference).
  • You can also measure the length on one of your existing jackets which length you are satisfied with.

  • Measure between the outside part of the shoulder point along the curve to the outside part of the second shoulder.
  • Keep the measuring tape clost to the collar edge by the neck.
  • Don't let the measuring tape slide down on the back.

Sleeves

  • Make sure that your arms are relaxed.
  • Measure from the end of the shoulder - VIA THE ELBOW - to the level of the thumb base. (At the pinch, where the thumb and the base of the index finger intersect, approximately 2 cm above the index finger knuckle). This measurement will be the final shirt sleeve length.
  • NB! You can make a note in the checkout step if you have different arm lengths on left and right arm.
